Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu has rejected claims by MP Ekow Vincent that government spent GH₵45 per sanitary pad, calling the calculation false and misleading while defending the transparency of the program.

The Ministry of Education has clarified that the use of Ghanaian languages as the medium of instruction is limited to lower primary levels. Officials explained that the policy aims to strengthen literacy and cultural identity among young learners while ensuring a smooth transition to English at the upper primary level.
