Gov’t Allocates GH₵33.3bn to Education Sector in 2026 Budget

Ghana has allocated GH₵33.3 billion to the Ministry of Education in the 2026 Budget, with an additional GH₵9.9 billion for GETFund to support nationwide infrastructure and key educational interventions. Finance Minister Ato Forson announced the measures during the 2026 Budget presentation to Parliament.
