Ministry of Finance new location in Kanda, Accra.
Accra, Ghana- The Ministry of Finance has officially relocated its offices to Kanda in Accra, with full operations set to begin on Monday, February 9, 2026, according to a press release issued by the Ministry on Thursday, February 6.
The relocation, the Ministry said, is part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, coordination, and responsiveness in delivering its mandate to the public. Under the new arrangement, all official business of the Ministry will be conducted from its Kanda offices on Tumu Avenue. The Ministry has also provided a new digital address (GV-002-6511) and confirmed that its postal address remains P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra.
The Ministry clarified that the office complex at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) before the current administration assumed office, countering suggestions that the relocation involved a new construction project by the present government.
Members of the public, state institutions, and other stakeholders have been advised to direct all correspondence, visits, and inquiries to the new location from February 9 onward. The Ministry noted that all existing telephone numbers and email contacts remain unchanged, ensuring continuity of communication during the transition.
In the statement, the Ministry expressed confidence that the relocation would support improved service delivery and pledged continued cooperation with stakeholders as it settles into its new premises.
